  • Great find OP! :T

If you want to book online with ticketmaster, use the Society of London Theatre booking link via the page below as the booking fee is only 45p per ticket rather than the £1.50 on the main ticketmaster site. The processing/postage fee is also cheaper at £1.25 per order rather than £2.25.

I got 2 tix for £12.15 inc fees and delivery, rather than the £15.25 it would be using ticketmaster.co.uk Also, you have 5 mins rather than 2 mins to complete the transaction .

I wish I had known that yesterday..I paid more in fees and postage than the actual price of the ticket...I will rememeber that for next time...Still happy at the price though....I got row P which is right in front of the barrier...when I went to see lion king I was on the very back row but I could still see perfectly fine..Can't wait to see Wicked as I wanted tickets for xmas and if i hadn't seen this I would be paying at least £50
  • Forgot to mention that when using the SOLT link I posted, you can press the back button on your browser if you're not happy with the seats offered and press continue - you can keep doing this until you find better ones (e.g. maybe 1 row further back, but closer to the middle). Use the theatremonkey seat plan in doogle_chick's post. Do not press reselect seats as it will just offer the same ones again!
  • Thank you Stratford for the Tips on the Society of london Theatre booking service. WOW, Direct Ticketmaster service at a Third of their outrageous service charge price. I agree that the booking website is also easier to use than the standard ticketmaster one. Will definately be using this in future.

Pleased with the response to my first ever post. I realise that these tickets are not the best in th house, just thuoght it would be a useful post for those of us that want to take our kids to see a west end show but also dont want to remortgage the house to do so.

Hope we all enjoy the show :)
  • Can anyone tell me what children's ages this show is suitable for ?

I've got the soundtrack and have visited the webiste at

    https://www.wickedthemusical.co.uk

and looked at other wicked realted articles. Its all pretty magical as you would expect being based around The Wizard of Oz. Nothing appears to be offensive or over-scary, although I think the show works on a duel Adult and Child level. We are taking our 6 year old along anyway.

    hope this helps

Thanks so much redorfred, this is brilliant. I have wanted to see this ever since my cousins over the pond raved about it. But knowing the prices I thought I wouldn't get to see it for a few years!! Thanks so so much, you have made me very very happy!
  • Saw the Broadway show a couple of years ago. Nothing too scary, certainly not too much for a six year old, though older children might enjoy it more.

(They won't have to have seen the Wizard of Oz, but I'd suggest it might help)

As redorfred suggests, kids can enjoy it on a 'fun' level but it's very clever for adults too.

I'll go again if I get the chance.

    Hi Spikey
There's some good deals here, some include a meal too.
