Quite a few on MSE go to Arion Bay Hotel, Santorini. We loved it, cheaper prices early in year.

Rhodes is beautiful. Both the north and the south of the island (we loved Rhodes Old Town)

We went to Pefkos a few years ago, stayed just outside the main town and had a great time. Friendly and choice of good restaurants without being too big and noisy. Only a bus ride from Lindos which is the beautiful old town and well worth a visit. Nice beaches and great weather. We booked with Olympic Holidays if that helps!
    Have a great holiday!

Pefkos is glorious! Went there last October and fell in love with it. We are looking forward to returning again this October - nice and quiet with plenty of great restaurants to eat in - spectacular views of the bay from some of them.

    Nowt for the teenager though!

    Hi there,

We went to Pefkos last August and though it was nice (the beach was brilliant) it was too full of English people for us - even the bar staff and taverna waiters were mostly English! It was very chilled and friendly though. Haven't been to Stalis (suspect it would be similar...). I kept trying to practice my (limited) Greek and they all replied in English!!!:rotfl:

Did love Lindos and Rhodes Town though. Tend to agree not much to do for a teenage in Pefkos except for the usual water sports on the beach.

We liked Tingaki in Kos, there's a waterpark not too far away and easy access to Kos town - a lot of people hire pushbikes to get around which was fun. Have a good time whatever you decide.

Just thought I would nip back in and say that Stalis is our other fav place if that helps with deciding on Pefkos.

We have returned to Stalis 5 years running - the place just suits us.

Tingaki would have been perfect if it wasn't for the wind!

  • We stayed at Elvita, between Lardos and Pefkos in Rhodes last year and loved it. This year we went to Adonis apartments, Kalami in Corfu and loved it.

I am a big fan of the Greek Islands

Really enjoyed Stalis and will definately go back there. Pefkos is looking likely this year (finances permitting)
