Two bedroom end terrace - open plan. 10 year old boiler. room thermostat fit half way through this quarter. Winter bill was £260 and we'd tried to be more sparing with the heating this time - but seemingly to no avail.
Switched to energysmart with onlinesaver2 this very day - it isn't the cheapest tariff. but I like the idea of paying for exactly what I've used each month - no surprises.
cheers for your help

Have calculated our usage to (roughly) 5000kwh electricity, and 17000 gas. This is for 2 adults and a baby/toddler... Seems quite high to me, but I do often have a lot of electrical gadgets on the go, and have been tumble drying and washing almost everyday. Also, all of our cooking is electric (hob and oven)! As for gas, that's the heating, as missus is always cold, so need the heating up more than I would personally have it!0
