Cancelling Virgin Media

Hi,

I'm a student living in rented accommodation and will be moving out on the 30th June. My Virgin Media contract also ends around this date, and so I am wondering what is the easiest way to cancel so it does actually finish on that date? Also, do Virgin collect the set top box, modem and router? And if so would it be possible for me to ask them to pick them at at my home address rather than my uni address?

Thanks

You have to return all the equipment or you'll be billed up to £250 for it.They normally send out a jiffy bag but this can take quite a while.
As for collecting the kit from your home address,it depends if it's in a VM area.Collections are done by an outside agency but whatever you do,do not get rid of the kit!!
When you cancell,do it by phone & back it up with a registered letter.
