It's a tricky one. I've just been completely distracted with some stories about copyright issues, competion logo sites, and ripping off stock photos. That's a bit of a nightmare scenario.
That dot design site is based in the South West, I noticed, so may be handy for you?
Just try not to spend £400000 and end up with a logo as bad as the Olympics 2012 one.
Yeah cool, thanks will check them out! The Olympics logo is dire, I heard a comedian on TV saying it looked like Lisa Simpson performing a s3x act.................. and it does ha !!!

Hi everyone
I am about to start a cupcake business from home and need a logo for branding etc. Where do I start ?!! Please could anyone recommend somebody they have used and give me an idea of prices ? I know you probably get what you pay for but I am on a tight budget.
Many thanks for your time,
Bek

Hey,
Thanks for the dot-design link. Has anyone else had experience with other logo design vendors on the net? I understand that this question potentially opens the floodgates to everyone wanting to plug their own graphic business, but I'd really love a comparison.
I definitely don't have the skills required to make the perfect logo for my business and website, but I also don't want to waste my time and money with a dodgy design company.
and borders_dude, how much money is 'extra money'? I'm on a budget but completely agree with you that you get what you pay for. I just need a yardstick.
Thanks,
Sam.0
