Hi, I was hoping for some help. I need to reduce my sky package but DH will only allow it if his euro sports are safe to watch his bike racing. Does anyone know the cheapest way to have euro sports. We spend £70.00 a month at the moment  with 2x multi room and sports package. We only need 1 multi room, so that will save £10 but we only watch bbc and itv so there must be cheaper way. Any idea's gratefully recieved
thanks
Sew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it

I think Eurosports is a free channel with sky.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

have a look on the sky site - looks like the basic is £18, one of the sports packages is £9 (there are 2 but guess you don't need them both) and multiroom you said you can drop to £10 which gves you a total of £37 per month0

We pay the basic SKy + £1 for something extra, and Eurosport is included. It is Sky Sport when the cost shoots up.0

Just a point - if you cancel you multi-room sbscription/s your box will still work and you will get SKYSAT through it - their free Freeview alterative but you won't get EuroSport on it - that is what we are on at the moment - I would add that if you were to cancel your SKY altogether, a couple of months down the road, they will offer you a great deal to come back to them
They have just offered us the basic package with one pack for £18 plus £1 for any other packs - and giving us Sky Sports FREE for 12 months - can't beat that - we were paying £61 before with HD no monvies - thiswill cost us £20.
Can't beat that can you :j

did you know you can also watch whats on your main Sky box in you other rooms just using a coaxial cable to connect them, then buy a TVLink which will allow you to change the channel from the other room, ok so you can not watch 2 different programs on each TV but do you do that often enough to justify £10 a month?
also if you have their unlimited broadband you can use the Skyplayer program to watch any 'extra' programs you might want on your computerDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Thanks to everyone for your imput. I would love to give up sky but DH could not live without it:p. Now I have more of an insight will go to sky see what we can do. Many thanks again for your help:DSew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it0

If you're talking about cycling (as opposed to motorcycling) then I think there are internet feeds where he can watch the big races, plus cyclingtv.com (or cycling.tv or something) for the rest.My Debt Free Diary I owe:
July 16 £19700 Nov 16 £18002
Aug 16 £19519 Dec 16 £17708
Sep 16 £18780 Jan 17 £17082
Oct 16 £178730 -
also if you have their unlimited broadband you can use the Skyplayer program to watch any 'extra' programs you might want on your computer
Be wary with this, for some of the stuff, they still require you to have multi room.
I turned on the xbox a while ago to see i could watch sky through it. The found I need to pay for multiroom first!!
Bit of a con really0 -
Virgin now distribute their HD content for free whereas Sly still charge £10 for it, so you could try pointing that out when you call.
Sly will then launch in to their standard spiel about how they have so many more HD channels (which is true), but what they don't tell you is that not all of their HD content actually originates in HD.
I also don't consider 1080i to be true HD, but Sly will argue till the cows come home that it is - that is something you can decide for yourself.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -

I have Eurosports but don't have the Sport package. Never have had the sport package. I get the World one (think that's it) and it comes as part of that. £47 a month inc HD subscription which also gets you Eurosport HD.0
