I am amazed that TasteCard have allowed this embarassment to continue as long as it has.

Anyone else not got their's? It's probably too long ago for most people to remember whether they applied or not :p

Absolutely brilliant of them - so they know who I am but no-one has bothered to follow this thread and fix it so I finally get what I asked for four months ago.

I have not received my card either, what a sham!! I also paid 99p postage ??? Certainly doesnt inspire me to actually purchase a card in the furture. I took the offer that was for 6 months and it was probably four months already that ive been waiting:rotfl:

You are getting confused. The 99p offer for 6 months was for a Gourmet Card, nothing to do with the taste card offer, completely different company. The taste card offer was for 3 months and you didn't have to pay anything - just apply using the link above, if you haven't had one before it will let you get one now.

Not if they simply did not bother to send one first time around, it won't :mad::mad:

Why is MSE compounding an already flakey promotion without first insisting that the detrita from the first are cleared up before launching the second??? This is not very MSE-like :(

You only have to see the chronology and content of my posts above linked with occasional interventions by MSE during the aftermath of the last promotion to see that it was never managed correctly and tastelondon/tastecard (they are the same outfit or if not there has been some dubious personal data transfer) failed to control it properly.
  • I too had a problem with their customer service. It's a real shame as the card was quite good - how can you argue that getting big discounts in restaurants is a bad idea. However, I purchased a card (it was called taste london then) about a year ago and was rather annoyed to find that they had taken money from my bank account when my card had expired about a month ago. I phoned them up but couldn't leave a message. SO I then emailed them and got no reply. So I phoned them again and eventually spoke to someone. They told me that they had emailed me about 6 weeks earlier telling me that my new card would be on its way and that they had sent one out in the post. I told them I hadn't received either even though I get their newsletters by email. I have moved house (which I had told them previously) and therefore had no use for the card as I no longer live in London. To say the person I spoke to was unsympathetic would be an understatement. She kept telling me that I could use where I lived now ( they 2 restaurants in the whole of the area where I now live). She was rude and basically told me that I was lying and would have to pay whatever - this particularly annoyed me as I had already paid (even though I hadn't agreed to continue with the membership) and that was why I was phoning them! I ended up going round and round in circles with her. She didn't even offer to send me an actual card so that I could use it.
I know everyone can have a bad day, but to tell me that I am a lying is the worse type of customer service. I've noticed that they have now changed their name from Taste London to taste card so maybe it will be better in the future, but I would warn everyone to be very careful when dealing with them taste card or taste london.

:( I have the same problem. A few days after applying and getting the confimation email that it would be posted within 7 days, I got another email saying I would receive it within the next 14 days - slightly later than expected but still in time for my partner's birthday so I can live with it.

But now the 14 days have passed and his birthday is today and still no card. Very disappointing as I had to plan for this in advance and will now have to pay full price because I was really looking forward to taking him to this specific restaurant.

What are the chances I will get home today to find it waiting for me??? *fingers crossed*
