Tastelondon card not arrived

Following an MSE email, I subscribed for a free trial of the Tastelondon card - apparently it gets you money off at London restaurants. I received a confirmation email on 5 May, saying that my card would be posted within seven working days - and it's now 17 May and nothing has arrived. Has anyone else had a delay? Were the organisation overwhelmed by the take-up from MSE readers? I'm loath to complain about a freebie, but was it a scam to get my details...?

Just to let you know, I received an email today apologising for the delay and that the card would be sent out asap. They have had a v large uptake on the
offer.

Thanks Lemondae - I've had the same email overnight, so they were probably surprised at the strength of the MSE response! Tee hee!

Same here. Had an email a couple of days ago apolagising for the delay. hopefully, it will come soon. Keen to start using it.:D

Still waiting - perhaps they post the London ones first, and out in the sticks we have to wait. I'm just hoping that it's valid for three months from the day I first use it, rather than from the day I applied - otherwise that's three weeks gone already.

Hurrah and huzzah - my Tastelondon card arrived this morning (21 May) and is valid until 24 August, so all is well.

I too received the feeble 'Unprecented Demand' letter on 18th May, some weeks after we all applied of course, and now another whole month has passed. The email said:

The only taste I have experienced with this lot is from spam. I have received three further emails from taste, the first two of those were headed "New to taste" and dated 20/5 and 2/6 and the last of them I received today something about them setting the lie to the rumour that Pizza Express had dumped them.

Yet still I have not received the card, the three months are pretty much up and I have no idea how to contact them.
