I'm posting this in the hope that someone can help guide me through the huge choice of packages that there are.
Currently we have a BT line & AOL platinum package £24.99.
-I want to keep the BT line whatever i do with the internet.
-In my area you can only get up to 1MB so i don't need more than that.
-I don't understand the x20 speed/x40 speed x160 speed so i just don;t know what we want with regard to this.
-I don't understand the download limits on some of the packages. We don't download anything other than from itunes. Is that classed as downloads?
-When it says up to 2GB downloads - how much is that (explain it to me [STRIKE]like[/STRIKE] I am an idiot).
-Unlimited allowance for time on the internet is ESSENTIAL (we tend to use it 6 hours per day).
Can anyone guide me to a better value package please? Or is AOL platinum £24.99p.m. the best package?
Thanks

And a daft question - are you sure you can get only 1MB?
And I would say you are paying way to much for what you have got.We all evolve - get on with it0 -
If you go onto the Pipex.net site - left hand side there is a box for you to enter phone number. Do that click the link and it should let you know what your max speed is likely to be. Must be available elsewhere too but I know that one worksWe all evolve - get on with it0

First of all I would read this thread about the AOL offers that existing customers are getting and phone them up to see what they offer you

Use this if the above doesn't work for speed check - both give me the exact same answer I can get 6.5 megs (currently I am only on 2meg)
