Just on the offchance,does anyone have a recipe for this?
A friend had it today with a steak and loved it. I'd like to recreate it for them.

its not cheap here it is
1 1/2 cups Madeira
3/4 cup canned consommer beef or chicken
3 tablespoons honey
Stir in Madeira, consommer and honey bring to boil . Simmer liquid is reduced to glaze, about 1 hour 10 minutes. Rewarm over low heat, stirring often, before serving

The first recipe offered also has cepes in it... also known as porcini... that's mushrooms to us common folk
