I've done nothing today other than pack and unpack dw and make lunches/cuppas and clear up - oh and visit lidl to get loo roll, milk and icecream

OH has taken both the boys with him on a cleaning job and so I'm meant to be getting dinner ready for 7pm.... but I decided that made it wine o'clock so I went and fetched the half bottle of sancerre and sat out in the sun :D

Suppose I ought to get dinner started, but the wine is making me feel all content and sleepy :D

AnW'smum, lost my dad 1 year ago this month (very sudden) - in fact today was the anniversary of the funeral. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you. My parents were married 40 years and mum said it's the first time in her life she's lived alone. We try and do something or give her something on their anniversary, seems kind of wrong to just stop doing stuff for mum on that day, after all these years. We all got together on the anniversary of his death and went out for the day, it kind of helped being all together.

Thursday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing DONE

Did the bedroom early before it got too hot. Mum enjoyed her walk to the park and back. Went to see GS2 and took him some shorts he had asked me to get. He was at the hospital all morning. The have not plastered his foot due to where the break is. But its all bandaged up to his knee. I found out he had been dragged along a bit . They had rang for a ambulance but they said as you are near the hospital just get a wheelchair. Thats how his mate had carried him down. Im just grateful that its not worse. He has been on the phone and apologised to the lady again. I walked back around the country park which was lovely and sat and watched the swans a bit.

Just listening to some music and pottering its too hot to sit out the back.

AnWsMum Thinking of you all today and tomorrow. Hugs.

Special hugs for Toots, Lady L and Diva.

    Evening ladies

Well done to all of you tackling sheds, far too hot for me and ours is ok on the whole, I could do the shelvign out there and might this week as you have inspired me.

Spent the day pottering mostly, sometimes you just need to. I have cleared a load of paperwork and done a mini food shop.

Another couple of hours spent in the garden, i now have all the spuds and leeks planted out. I just need to weed the other half of it now.:o
Kids all like mud and grass monsters so hot water on for them.
    Washing pretty much all done.
So tonight for me is bath and bed, hopefully Rhys will have a lie in tomorrow.

Cosmomo I'm so sorry, what a nightmare for you, i hope you get your money back some way.
Bobby i hope he heals quickly.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Cosmo - huge hugs love... - I suggest you get on the phone to the scaffolders to take it away as soon as possible

    AnW's
(and Miss A and Master W) I hope your escape techniques work tomorrow. A 12th anniversary is silk it seems. Why don't you treat yourselves to a a silk covered cushion to commemorate the date and put it on the settee or somewhere? I'm sure DH would look down and smile every time one of you used it :)

    L-L - I hope you're OK hun

Well, I'm as pooped as the person who won the let's see who can be the poopest world championships. Bathroom has been thoroughly decorated. I only need to do one more coat on one more wall tomorrow and it's complete. I foolishly bought some bedding plants that winked at me so I need to pot them on tomorrow too.

I think spring has finally sprung!

Off to make steak, chips and salad for dinner. I've certainly earned it!
