This morning didn't quite go according to plan, as I seem to have done more outside than in the house. I've dusted off seat and bench cushions, found and brushed DS2's table/chair/parasol set as well as the big parasol and found some shed paint in the shed, that's still ok. Some money saved there. WM on x2 and first lot drying on airer outside. DS2 slipped, slapped and slopped so he can play out. NN is looking after him while I go to the shops, so he can play with her daughter. I really don't fancy going out, but needs must. Not hungry, either, which is not like me at all.

hugs from me also AnWs, to all of you.

Not bad progress here, one load of washing done and drying...towels can go in tomorrow when there will be cleaning cloths to fling in with them. Stuff for BBQ bought plus few bits we had for lunch. Sermon sorted and printed, looked back through my files and found an old one on the same passages which I've tweaked...needs must at the moment.

I am just going to make a curry with a jar of sauce. we planned to have it last night so the chicken breasts were defrosted but we didn't bother in the end as I was so late home, don't want to waste the chicken so I'll cook the whole thing and freeze it ;) Then I need to go in about 30 mins, better get that curry on!

So far i've baked 8 scones, 2 dozen buns and a wheaten bread. Lunch now in the oven. Hubby has cut the grass both back and front so thats one less job for later.
Washing on line is now all dry so another load has went out.
Wonder what else i can find to wash........:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Shed is empty.. I could now fill a large skip!!! Why I had 90% of what is in there is beyond me!

I found a large steam cleaner/paper stripper which I will scrub, test and hopefully ebay!

Why do I have a spare axel for a pushchair I sold 8 years ago?
Why do I have a raincover for a pushchair I had 7 years ago?
Why do I have a kitchen bin full of ancient cleaing producs and a manky old webby kettle?

    I do confuse myself sometimes!

Off to scrub a bouncy castle!

I have pulled the rhubarb up and turned over a small patch of garden which I will weed next week. When I can be bothered I will chop the rhubarb and get in ready for tonight's crumble and the rest for freezing. Going to do the ironing in front of the tv tonight. Need to declutter/tidy one of the kitchen cupboards as my favourite gardening gloves and some of my tools are missing.
So jobs for today in this order or I will never do anything

    Washing up and put away
    Cut and wash rhubarb
    Empty and tidy kitchen cupboard
Make dinner (why did I decide on a roast on a hot day?)
