Carlsberggal, Triker and Carol - so sorry to hear of your troubles. xxx

Lamewolf: sorry to read that you are finding things tough, too. Try to pace yourself: you are putting me to shame and I'm allegedly fully fit!

Did about 4 hours gardening today, so I'm a bit stiff now: it was all weeding on hands and knees. Then I did some cooking (still using up that lamb...!). Tomorrow is more of the same (but beef mince for a change), and I'm also determined to get that bathroom done. Will catch up with the living room later in the week.

Sleep well, and gentle thoughts for Toots and L-L.

sorry haven't caught up. Bit of a difficult couple of days though nothing up to what others have to put up with. Heading to bed now with my book though I think sleep is in order...

flying wise unpacked the Mr T delivery into sparkly fridge (thanks to yesterday's list), DH put the rubbish out and washing is up to date. Trying to find a cheap cottage in northumberland for our july hols without much luck...left it too late i fear. Also treated myself to some baby bits when in asda getting something for new nephew tonight :)

    DONE!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG. I had to get up at the crack of dawn today to get dd ready for her school trip. So I started flying at 4.45am. I am *so* gonna pay for this later.

Also made a yummy roasted root veggie soup (recipe available on request lol) that's simmering away in the oven and got two loads of washing done.

Where the eff is my housewife of the year award :rotfl:

Dh works nights, and he arrived in with some more of my beloved Cif lemon cream. I might just have to get a head start on Thursday's list just for the excuse to use it!

Morning campers, am up bright and early although not sure if I am actually awake..lol. Have decluttered DH off to work with instructions that when I ring him at work today, he is to greet me with "hello darling". This is mainly because when I do ring him he usually says "hi" in a noncommittal way..lol. Poor lamb is dreading me ringing me now as he says the rest of his team will take the michael out of him all day.. I reakon it will show them that he still loves me after all this time together.. Don't think he is that impressed :rotfl:

My morning birds are in the garden, although Woody the wood pigeon seems to have taken root on the bird feeder for some reason. He has been sitting on the seed tray for the last half hour, I also noticed another one had turned up half an hour ago and that one is sitting on top of the feeder!! The poor sparrows are scrabbling around on the floor gathering up the seeds that Woody drops..:D Haven't seen Mr and Mrs Dove yet, but I can certainly hear them. I reakon they are waiting till Woody and Mrs Woody disappear before they come down and get some food :D

Oh just seen a baby sparrow bird in the pansy hanging basket, it is fluttering around and being fed by it's mother. It's quite funny as it looks like the pansies are moving around..lol

Thank you to everyone for their lovely words re my smear test, and for not berating me for not going for 11 years. I feel all lovely and warm inside :)

    Tag, hugs honey
