Balance Transferring and PPI

Hi
I hope someone can help me with some good advice.
Here's the story:
I've just lost my job and am desperately searching for a new one, however in the meantime as i'm sure we're all aware the bills don't stop! =(
I have 2 credit cards, on one of them I have the Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) and the other I don't, obviously now that I have lost said job, I have made a claim on the PPI.
Would i be allowed to transfer the whole remaining balance from my other credit card to the one which has the PPI, therefore increasing the amount that is paid for me by the PPI company, whilst at the same time decreasing my outgoings, or is this not allowed?
I think that in my current situation this would make a lot of sense, but wasn't sure whether it was in some way a breach of the rules and regulations?
Any advice would be most welcome
Thanks

Hi
I'm pretty certain that under the terms of the PPI it will only pay based on the balance that was on the account at the point in time you made the claim.
Have you got the PPI agreement/terms?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
As Tixy says you need to check the terms.
These forums maybe able to offer more advice.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
