I had the exact same last week. It is the WIN32:Renos 00 virus. I also had avast running when i got it. Stops you going to any other website etc..... total nightmare.

I got help from here :T

Basically put laptop into safe mode networking. Run Malawarebytes the hijack this then combo.fix

The only way i could do it EVEN in safe mode.....was download these programs onto a USB stick from another laptop or PC and then open it from there on my infected laptop.

Read my post......WIN32 Renos Virus.....and you shold get it all sorted out. :T:T:T

Reboot and keep pressing F8 to get into SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING

    Download and run FIX.EXE
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/reg/antivirus-vista-2010/FixExe.reg

Download a fresh copy of malwarebytes
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

    reboot

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/2894/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
