Anyone heard of The RSG Group?

  • I would AVOID I repeat AVOID this dodgy company. They are the WORST company I have ever dealt with. NEVER pay money when they are meant to, tell lies, the girls who work there haven't a clue, and the managers use them to tell clients where to go when they owe them money. Is there any wonder they have new staff on and old ones out just about every week, when they get fed up of doing the managers ''dirty work''.
We are currently starting proceedings to sue this company so that just about sums it up.
Private message me if want any more help/advice :)
    Regards
  • Hiya.

Has anyone rented from the RSG group? i found a property with them in August, it needed alot of work, i agreed to do it in exchange for a rent free period, but by the time they did their bits floors, gas etc the start date of tennancy had passed so not only did i not get rent free but have paid for 2 weeks before i could move in. I gave them rent in advance for first month, which they instead used as deposit even though council were supose to pay deposit for me (who now wont pay out cause there is a deposit in place) so i am having to pay october to november again, however i have tried doing this twice now and they keep saying they don't get cheques and i have to keep paying bank to stop them, november to december is due next week and they saying if both not paid i will be evicted even though iv spent £2000 on property, is there anything i do as they deniying my cheques???:mad::mad: thank you in advance for any help that can be offered

Assuming they did not cash the cheques, you still have the cash, so arrange a bank transfer and standing order for the future. As for them not fulfilling the contract of free rent and fix-up, that is separate, you could take it to the small claims courts if you can prove the agreement was in place, and that they breached it
  • How could someone go about suing this company, if at all possible?

My parents were due to move in 3 weeks time, and this company (rsg group), were buying my parents property after already agreeing price.
But today they called my parents and dropped their offer by £13,000

My parents are distraught as they had already geared themselves up for move by selling lots of furniture and other items as they were downsizing.

  • Would be interested to hear off more people that have rented from this company
  • Rsg group were buying my house in Stockton on tees and offered me £130,000 to buy my property and contacted me with 2 days to go and reduced there offer by £10,000 in which with such a short time before my sale for my new property i didnt have a option but to accept.

I have since discovered that they have now put the property for sale on right move with false information and are using the photos from our previous estate agent which show it fully furnished which are false as it is vacant as no one lives there .

They also saying the property is massively reduced price which is also false as they purchased it for less than they have been advertised.
  • My advice to anyone who is considering dealing with rsg group it's to totally avoid , if it is to rent , buy or sell !

They are the worst company I have ever come across .
The staff are rude and totally incompetent. They have no clue what they are doing or talking about half the time .
They are so dodgy. The houses they rent out are in dyer condition and never do repairs getting them to do anything is like talking to a brick wall .

They con people when selling houses and prey on the vulnerable when they are confronted by someone who doesn't take no crap they put the phone down or ignore calls.

To those who have been or are waiting for deposits back then I wouldn't hold your breath . That money will be long gone. A deposit that's paid by the tenant for damages is now meant to be put into a government scheme where it is held until the tenent leaves the property , as long as landlord is happy with how property is left , no damages or outstanding bills this deposit is then released back to tenant . A landlord has a responsibility to put this into one of the schemes and to let you know where it's gone within 30 days of you paying it. If landlord hasn't done this it can be taken to court where the landlord if found they haven't protected your deposit will be ordered to do so or pay you back . They could also be order ed to pay you 3 times the amount of the deposit in compensation. As far as I'm aware rsg do not protect deposits!! Anybody who s paid one I'd advise you contact tenancy deposit scheme and find out . This company needs to be stopped , I'm surprised after all these years it's still going .

They are crooks . Do not deal with them !!!,
