BT invoices received but not our ISP.

We moved from BT Broadband 2/3 years ago. Suddenly we have started to receive invoices from them with 3 different account numbers and for varying amounts
After a couple of calls and a couple of letters we have managed to have all the charges credited, although every account is now showing as having a credit balance so looks as though they owe us over £120!
We have been told that they had a glitch in their system which started to send out invoices to all past BT customers.
Has anyone else been experiencing this problem?
