    good work bicpens.

Thanks for helping clear things up.

Does that actually clear things up to you though? It just says the person has reapplied as a company? Not that they have been refused payment as an individual. For all we know the person could of sent one pen in,then changed their mind and decided they wanted to send more in and re-apply as a company (not that im saying that is the case just that it could be). It also mentions nothing about colour. The person is after all posting as a new member with an offer to sell promotion packs to people... Jus' saying
Ive just sent them an email asking them to confirm. So as soon as i get a reply ill post it and let you all know what they say.
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
  • Just had my 10 empty pens returned from bic.

If you want to claim £100 you need to include your company registration number as it needs to be verified with company house.

looks like it will just be a £10 claim for me.

if anyone does happen to find these, perhaps you could pick up a pack and stick them on ebay. I cant find them anywhere, and would love to get my hands on a pack.

tesco at prescot still have these, they are not with the usual pens, they are in a cardboard box and the end of one of the aisles facing the photo/opticians at the back of the store.

I paid £1.50 for them but they are now £3.50

The letter states that as I applied for a refund of £100, rather than the individual challenge of £10, I must re-submit my application and include company information. This shows that any claim over £10, must be submitted on a company form with company information.

I could always just send my one pen in for a £10 reward.

I sent all 9 pens in at once, in one envelope, recorded delivery.

The terms and conditions on the Bic website state "The "Promotional Product" referred to in these Terms and Conditions are packs of 10 BiC® Cristal® Medium ball point pens, which are packaged in the "Challenge BIC" promotional packaging" - now personally, I have only ever seen black pens in the special promotional packaging, but I could be wrong.

In Tesco yesterday they had packs of 10 mixed colours with promotional stickers on the outside
  • hey everyone i have had all my 10 pens sent back they are saying to fill in the collegues application form as thats how you can get the £100 but has anyone filled in this form and received there £100 yet? as i do not want to waste my time again!

Also do they send the cheque to your company address on your name how does it worl really strange my family member did the challenge and received the £100 cheque without a problem on a residential adddress thats what made me do this challenge i rang them up asked them why they let few other people have there cheques they said was a mistake what a load of crap!!!
  • Just another confirmation, you can only get £100 as a company. Sent in 10 pens with an individual claim, got the same reply.

not all businesses are registered with companies house, only ltd companies,

I personally think its sort of back fired on them.

I am a ltd company, but havent done this, but now i think i might go and have a look for those promotional pens, and see what excuse they give me, as i meet their criteria.:rotfl:.

but if i wasnt a ltd company, and couldnt supply a company no. I would send my headed paper or busienss card in;) and say i am a new business;) childminder, or and independant survey person...researcher, builder, dog walker,
    professional competitioner:rotfl:

    worth a go....

has anyone got a pic of the promotional packs i need to have a look out for?

    thanks..:T
