T-mobile stole my money!

Ok my contract ended 11th April of last month. I have moved onto another contract with O2 and haven't used the sim from T-mobile since the end of March.

I got a bill through today for May of £15 (the normal amount). I phoned up and they said that I had to give 30 days notice that I wasn't going to go into the 19th month of a 18 month contract! I got it cancelled but they wouldn't give me a refund for May. I phoned up the company about 2/3 weeks before the contract ended about switching my number over (I decided not too they were charging me for it) and they NEVER told me about this, even though it was made perfectly clear I was going to a different contract. In fact I was never told about this.

I need help!

You get a PAC code or you send cancellation in WRITING. its in your contract that this is how it was done, if you did not follow it it means you didnt give notice and your contract carrys on, you needed to give 30 days notice in writing at the start of month 17.

Your contract didn't end as such, you just finished the minimum term. After which it drops to a months (30 day) rolling contract.

As with just about every type of contract you have to give a notice period, in this case 30 days.

They didn't steal anything, they took the money they were entitled to under the contract.
