Could anyone advise if this would be any good for children? Just needed for browsing the web & simple activities.
Thanks

There are millions of these things around... having owned one I posted in some detail here

In short, can be used to do some work (typing, spreadsheet) on, useless for web browsing, VERY slow, and several minutes slower than an adults, let alone a kids patience! - big problem cannot run a printer! documents have to be carried to other PC on a memory stick to print!
Big shame they can't put a decent amount of oomph in them as they would be quite good then as easy to maintain and virus resistant.)European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0 -
lol, and Windows CE edition, its little more than a pocket calculator, definitely NOT a PC/Laptop type thing, more an oversized mobile phone except a current mobile phone would probably be more like a laptop and could do much more that that thing.
Is it 'good'? short answer no, the price should have given some hints0 -
Cheers for your views, won't bother with this one!"Hope for the Best

Something like that might not have a sufficiently up-to-date or powerful browser to run heavy Flash - which a lot of online games use.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
