Hello,
Sold a keyboard six months ago. Couple of hundred pounds. Money received. Buyer failed to turn up to collect. Left messages. No response. Recently offered to deliver it. No response.
So what do I do? can i sell it again? or is that dodgy legal water?

Can you return the money? The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

Yeah, guess that's an option if I'm feeling altruistic.
Just wanted to see if legally or in ebay rules there's any precendent for saying you've had six months, plus reminders etc.and you haven't taken it so tough. Too late.0 -

In that case I wouldn't bother - I'd've returned it by Paypal, but if you haven't managed to make contact with them, how do you know if they'll ever receive the cheque if you send it to the last known address?
Is their ID still active on Ebay? The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0 -
Search the local obituary columns? My TV is broken!

You have done all you can to contact the buyer. I'd not have bothered after all this time but thats immaterial
I'd keep the money for awhile just incase they get back to you but re-sell the keyboard. Mind you though, they can obviously afford to give away £200 as they haven't collected the item nor have they asked for a refund. :heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
