  • I can't see how they will stop people entering tbh with these supposedly cancelled tickets . The tickets have a tiny little ticket number on them, no bar codes or anything. All the guy at the gates will do is tear the little strip off the ticket and let who ever on in and on their way.

I think its scare mongering to 'try' and stop touts - not that it will I don't think... basically i'm saying is, there's nowt to be worried about if you've bought those tickets IMO.
  • Got an email this afternoon to say they had sent my tickets out Special Delivery - so they should be with me on Monday :j
  • just some info - for the reader who wants to take a picnic - have a look at the National Bowl Milton Keynes website - the restriction on food - is NO FOOD at all and a little to drink - no alcohol - doesn't appear to be the picniccy site like Knebworth was. As for the Golden Circle - at Knebworth the Golden Circle was a first come first served event, but this time I have spoken to people who paid for seated accommodation at Wembley and these have been transferred to the Golden Circle - so there doesn't appear to be much point for the race for the front at Milton Keynes. I am taking a fold up chair for £5, so I can sit on it whilst I wait for the gates to open around 2pm and will just dump it before I leg it to the front - can't wait so excited.

I went to Milton Kenyes to see take that. I saw this on our tickets and didn't bother to take any food in but people were taking in big freezer and picnic bags of food. It might be worth risking becuase the food there was very pricy and not great.

    Hi All,

Just to let you know that Ticketmaster have "released" (don't you just love their marketing?!?) more tickets for Robbie in Leeds on Friday.

    Here's the link: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/artist/944743

  • Hi Everyone,
So jealous of you all I sadly won't be going to Robbie but hope that u all enjoy, I saw Bon Jovi at Milton Keynes back in June, the leaflet sent with my ticket said-no fold up chairs-no drink or food allowed and no umbrellas ! But when we got there the guys on the gate were letting in picnic baskets and cool bags but were checking them for sharp object, glass and alcohol. We swopped all our booze into plastic bottles the smaller sizes and grabbed a picnic blanket and had a wonderful time.
The food to buy there was very greasy and VERY expensive. There was a ticket booth to buy your bar tickets-£2.50 ea, the bar had a small variety, breezer, red wine, lager and cider, but really well run and very quick.
There was no access to the inner circle for general admission but the grass verge all the way round was comfy and if its a nice day pleasant. Good luck and have fun.
    Looby
