Is it just the leaves or the crown of the plant or both, have you been watering, have you had frost, have you fed them a good fertiliser, or has next door been spraying weedkiller lately.Norn Iron Club member No 3530

I have mine outdoors & water thoroughly if we haven't had rain for 2/3 days. Otherwise I leave well alone.
Though if the leaves are turning brown it sounds like you're not watering them enough.
What are they planted in?
It's very strange as strawberries are very easy to grow! They were my first success.Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! at least every other day till it pours out the bottom 0 -
Mine are dying in the hanging baskets - I think it's just too cold for them at the moment - I had to put some out because I was running out of window sill space. Should have just given them away

im gona get some more tomorrow and see how i go with those0

Might be worth keeping them inside for a few days until the weather warms up and then hardening them off first - put them out during the day and bring them in a night for week.

i will this time, i planted them straight out last time0
