Does anyone have any news about the network crash which has effected O2 and Orange (and, possibly, Vodaphone) for most of this week?

The only network crash I heard of was with O2, it was affecting people in areas across the UK and meant users were unable to access the network on Tuesday (11th) night and early Wednesday (12th) morning. It was caused by "a loss of power following planned engineering work." in Yate near Bristol
