You can stay parked at the station no problem.
I wouldn't worry to much anyway as I don't think there is any by law affecting that station car park, anyway, mean a unenforceable invoice being issued!0 -

Hi all,
I was surprised to get a notification for this post. We had a very nice holiday in Wales IN MAY 2010. We stayed over at godmother's for a few hours until we had to come back to get the train.
When we arrived at Birmingham we spoke to information who said there is security staff and cctv on the station all night. You can only stay on the station with a valid ticket.
We had a wander whilst waiting for godmother to pick us up and I have to say I would have felt fine staying on the station overnight. I probably would not have slept, but I would have had hours to sleep on the train to complete the rest of the journey.
