Diesel has always been only 1p/litre more than petrol here until recently0 -
Its been quite a fall in the last few weeks. Have been filling my wifes car up recently and she uses petrol (I use diesel) and it was nearing £1 a litre a few weeks back - now down to just over only £0.90. Yes thats right ONLY £0.90 a litre. Gordon still takes about £0.70 of that is tax:mad:0

I know! It amuses me how we've all been conditioned into thinking that 90p a litre is cheap!0 -

I've moved to a new house and my route to work now only has one petrol station which is in the sticks, and is still 98.9p for diesel, even though there are garages within 5 miles at 95.9p. The question is whether it's worth going an extra 10 miles (it's in the opposite direction) for 3p/litre.0
