Why is Sony Ericsson D750 so similar to W800?

I have noticed that the Sony Ericsson D750 is basically meant to be a K750 in a different housing, but why does it resemble a W800 ? And I also heard you can convert one into a W800 via software, but can you find a housing to fit D750 like a W800? :eek:

The w800 is the same family as the k750i and d750.They all use the same chassis.

same chassis and same pcb, just needs reflashing with w800i s/w
the mem cards and headset are different
you can get the w800 facias on ebay

The W series of phones all have the sony walkman software as well

Oh and recently a moneysaver found a software which you can use to convert any D/K750 into a w800 internally. I now have a D750, could I fool people into thinking its a W800?

There are various sites that allow you to change the d750 software to a w800 software. No free way of doing it. have a look at this site it will tell you how to do it
