Board keeps logging me out?

Hi all,
The board logs me out everytime l leave and l have to login each time - several times a day !! :rotfl: so it gets annoying.
I can't find in my settings if there's a 'log me out each time l leave' button - in fact l had to find my settings through my private messages?
I guess these are part of the new forum changes?

Are you selecting the "remember me" check box when you log in?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Does this happen with any other forum logon?
If so, then you may have some form of security software that either won't allow or regularly deletes your cookies.
You may need to identify the individual cookie and and set your security software to ignore it."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Thanks premier, yes it's only this forum will try that

I have the same problem too.
Other forums that i subscribe to are able to 'keep me logged in' if I select the 'remember me' boxes.
Not sure why, after 7 years of membership, MSE suddenly won't remember me!
grateful for any clues anyone.

Just to update, l'm not going to be able to sort this at the moment, it's still logging me out everytime l leave and l couldn't find an option for the security software to ignore the MSE cookie.....
I'm going away for a couple of weeks (we're going to be allowed to fly through greater quantities of the ash cloud so in effect we're going to be an ash cloud guinea pig - gulp! Hope we make it back!)

Sounds like the cookie that the forums tries to save to your machine when you login with "Remember me" ticked isn't being saved, or is being deleted. As the others are suggesting I would check (privacy?) settings in your Browser and any security software to see if there is anything in there which might automatically block or delete cookies.0 -
I've checked my privacy settings and it shows 'moneysavingexpert' password is always 'saved'. So still not sure why i'm automatically being logged out each time..
I'd be grateful for any other tips that i could try.

I move from one MSE forum to other MSE forums but it also keeps logging me out. I don't even leave MSE. It is annoying.:o0
