i use it as a base for a sauce ,use on pasta etc

i generally fry off some onion, mushrooms etc then add chicken or whatever
add the cream cheese and stir til melted,if too dry i add some creme fraiche

red onion, mushroom, cubed pancetta and spinach version is yummy !

i also make a canape with cream cheese

another ideas is to stuff chicken breast with it,you can then wrap in bacon / pancetta if you wish

    All of the above...

... and/or mix it with e.g. sundried tomatoes, or pesto, or spring onions, or lots of yummy herbs, or something along those lines and stuff a chicken or turkey breast fillet with it. Pop it in the oven (around 200/220) for 20 mins or so (until the juices run clear) and eat with new spuds and salad. Delish!

Similar to what I was going to suggest but I usually mix in fresh garlic and mixed herbs, fill the chicken brest and seal with a rasher of bacon or parma ham.....oven as above....YUM

cook some pasta with a stock cube in it. In a wok stir fry some veggies and/or some chicken/pork/bacon. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and put it into the wok over a very low heat and stir through the cream cheese and give it a twist of black pepper. Its lovely!

  • Make a no-bake cheesecake with it or use as a frosting for carrot cake. Sorry I haven't got the recipes here but there will be something on the Web.
