Not a lot; I want to try and buy from Argos because I have £24.45 left on a giftcard for there. So the £199.99 one I linked to above would be £175odd.

I would avoid Hitachi TV's, sadly Hitachi do not make TV's anymore, they are just re-badged cheap stuff sold mainly by Argos.

I know you said you'd like built in DVD but personally I'd go for this : http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5295542/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+entertainment+and+sat+nav%7C14419512/c_2/3%7Ccat_15701169%7CTelevisions%7C14419667.htm and get a cheap DVD player seperately. Try and get one with air vents on the side or back and you could put the TV on top of it. The higher resolution of this TV I reckon is worth the extra little bit of hassle.

You see, I only looked at the sale section before...are Alba better than Hitachi? Last TV I had was a Panasonic.

Youd do far better buying a cheap tv and a cheap dvd player. Combis are renouned (Especially the cheapie 'alba' type ones) of lasting 12 months (if your lucky)
