TV help needed

Options
Hi all,
It's been 5 years since I owned a tv and I'm going to buy one now.

I was wondering which of these 2 is better; I am not sure what the difference is:

or

Finally, in the description, it says Freeview digital tuner; does this mean it already has Freeview integrated? I know some do and others you need to buy a separate box. Any/all guidance most gratefully received.

The cheaper one is actually the better one, has a higher screen resolution which is close too 1080p.

It pays to look at a TV before buying. I bought an Hitachi for a bedroom TV just on price and made a mistake - there was no viewing angles quoted and they turned out to be rather poor so I couldn't just put it on the shelf I had planned to use and had to buy a wall mount for it to be watchable when lying down in bed.

Thank you both for your answers. The cheaper one is out of stock unfortunately. I don't know when they'll get more in; don't want to miss out on the cheap offer so may get the other one anyway.

Sainsbury's have a 22'' LG for £169.99. My mum and me bought one each this week.

This has a built-in Freeview tuner. We're both pretty happy with them.

A few seconds after buying the tv you'll get hounded by tv licencing, they'll stalk you, send helicopters after you until you prove you've got one.

Just wait until they send the TV licencing stormtroopers to break down your door and steal your kitten!

Likewise. There will be better offers around. Don't be fooled by the 'special offer'. They're cheaper because they're old stock and old models and this is all they're worth now.
I also wouldn't waste the money on a built in DVD player. Spend the money on a decent quality telly and buy a cheap DVD player instead. There's plenty of upscaling DVD players on the market that are cheap these days. Anything that's got component or HDMI connection instead of SCART is going to look better anyway.
What's your budget for the TV and is the DVD player part important or did the 2 you listed just happen to have DVD players ?

Thanks for your helpful answer. I can wait til 31 August to buy a TV, but I do want a DVD player and am pressed for space; going to be moving into a tiny room in student halls, so an all-in-one is ideal. I want a 22 inch model as it's the perfect size; I've been watching TV on my friend's set of that size and it's exactly what I want; anything smaller isn't good with my poor eyesight and anything bigger takes too much space up.
