    Morning all

Milly, good news about your Op! And did you really get a 'cancellation' just after writing to the chief exec??! You do very much deserve a cup of tea at the hospital - hope you've got a cheery WRVS cafe or something to have it in like our hospital, rather than just a machine!

    Have a good day all
    xx

Yep - I wrote a very strong letter to the chief exec which he would have received Monday, I also emailed on Monday which he immediately replied to saying someone would look into my case. Then Wednesday I get an appt - funny that eh?! Amazing - I've been on the waiting list since jan and they said I probably wouldn't be operated on until July - glad I wrote though;)
The hospital has a lovely coffee place, so have a coffee before the appt then a tea after before my bus...nice little trip out for me:rotfl:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Afternoon all!
Been for yet another job interview - should hear about it this evening, not overly hopeful thouugh - got down to the last 3 after the half way through the day cull but the others were very experienced and I'm just a newbie teacher.

    Today I will...
    • Go to interview
    • Had brekkie at home and a very measly buffet lunch at the interview
    • Tea from food plan
    • Walked dog for free exercise
    • Need to bath dog after his visit to the park
    • Go to Mr Ts later for bits for visitors (mum and sis coming for the weekend tomorrow)
    • Hoover house (half the park appears to have come home with us)
    • Have a general tidy ready for visitors
    • Got another invitation for interview through the post (Tuesday next week)
    • Have a rest and maybe a glass of wine tonight after stressful day
    • NSD apart from groceries
    • Been screened outof a survey but managed to do one
    • Checked banks - no change
That's all for today. Have a good evening
  • Hi all - glad to see everyone positive today - well done millyscarlett on the hospital - I have had 16 hour operations in the past so I know your scared but trust me you'll get through it - A positive mental attitude sounds corny but I definitely believe it helps recovery.

    Today....
    1. Counted £65 (yes £65!) out of the pot my bf empties his change into - hes a change -o-phobic and hates carrying it round (stoopid him, lucky me!) Will change at bank tomorrow and take to London this weekend with me - cosmos all round for the girls!
    2. nsd
    3. pasta from stores for tea
    4. work for bf for pennies
    5. sort out tree surgeon to cut down trees for my shop - (dont worry am planting new ones just further down to make up for it) - its a neccesity they have to go.
    6. Didnt go to shop for a coffee for me and bf at work but made one instead!

    Small things eh?

    xxxxxxxx

Hi folks , well its still cold here but at least the sun is shining :)

Its my day off today and I'm exhausted, I cancelled my morning appointment and stayed in bed till lunch - it was lovely :D

    Today I have / will :
    • Saved £6 bus fares / breakfast by not going into town for appointment(probably more considering i usually wander round shops after ) :o
    • Walked to post office for free exercise
    • posted ebid item
    • posted letter to hmrc
    • checked banks - got unexpected payment so should just scrape through this month rather than going overdrawn. Also got £8 child tax credits - whats that about , I usually get £40 a week later.
    • check ebay listings - lots of watchers one nice bid.
    • plant out free nurses day seeds in whatever i can find to plant them in :ofound some pots for patio and scattered some in raised bed at the front of house
    • meal from plan - chicken curry
    • quick rush round to do some cleaning and iron my uniform for tommorow emptied bins :o
    • competitions managed about 20 , may do some more tonight
    • surveys - could do much better if i put in some effort but quite pleased with what i am managing to put towards xmas :)2 completed , nearly at point of getting a voucher and a product on its way to test :D
Okay off for a cuppa and then will get on ...........

Also going to revise my ebid listings and up the postage in line with recent price increases.
Done a quick tidy of the garden at the front of house
Had a look on the freebies thread but not seen anything useful
Kept the heating off even though i am practically suffering from hypothermia :o
