i am, i put off listing my stuff till weekend in support of the shop sellers on ebay. i've been trying to weigh and work out postal charges but i'm not sure i'm doing it right.

i've been carp so far at my guesstimates on postage and its cost more to send than i've charged. on 2 of my sales i actually ended up paying the buyer to buy my items cos they went for such low amounts and the postage cost me an arm and a leg
thought i might be better off giving everything to charity but i'm determined to sell something at a profit

Im totally lost! It cant be much of a difference can it?
e.g I usually do P+P (special delivery) £6.00 on eBay, Im advertising a very expensive phone tonight so Ill put it up to £8-£10. Should cover everything just in case.0 -
If they were trying to make it easy to understand... they failed.
Frankly the RM's site sucks, it's so clunky to navigate.
How hard would it be to make a simple calculator?
- Which country is your item going to?
- Which service would you like to use? (1s, 2nd, SD, Airsure, etc etc etc)
- How much does the package weigh?
- Which slot will it fit through? (small / large / too big for either)
- What is its largest dimension?
Instead... (PiP aside) if you want to send something overseas, you have to...
- Figure out whether it's a small packet, papers, or some other mysterious and vague type of item
- Work out which 'Zone' it's going to... well honestly
- Go to a page full of charts, find the right chart, find the right column and get the airmail price
- Go to another screen and find the airsure fee
- Add it all together, panic about whether you've picked a price from the wrong column, add to auction and pray someone in the UK buys!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Errmmm, am I the only one who thinks it's easy?

Special delivery hasn't changed at all so I wouldn't put your p and P up too much otherwise you will be out of line with what your competitors are doing.

Special delivery isn't affected by the change.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Thats good. I didnt know that, need to read and find out for myself then just hearing from people.
Looks like I'll keep it £6.00 or under, which is better than most peoples P+P. (Special Delivery thats is).
Thanks for that, Im happy as I send most of my items via special delivery as its safer. Worth it in the end!0 -
Can anyone tell me if parcel prices are changing? Or is it just letters? Thanks0
