Hi,
I ordered a nokia n97 from dialaphone earlier this evening, got the confirmation email. Now, i logged into the account using the details it gave me and to my suprise the only phone in there database that ive ordered is a nokia 5800 in june of last year, and that says cancelled next to it(cant remember what happened!) anyway, i went into messages and it says something along the line of 'your recent order cannot be processed due to your debit card not being authorised by your bank'. The time and date on the message is the time that i read the message, so unless it was sent a second before i read it is there a possibility that this message is for the 5800 that was cancelled last year? I didnt receieve an actual email about the order being unable to be processed, would i if this was the case?
I suppose i just want my mind to be put to rest before sleepy time!
Thanks

Even if the card failed you should get a order confirmation emailAlthough no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
hi, i did get an order confirmation email, and thats the only email i got, my question is, if my card failed, would i get an email for that.
Thanks0 -
If your card failed, then they normally try to contact you via alternative phone line (which you might have provided to them). Otherwise they won't send an email detailing card failure etc (security reasons). Perhaps an email asking you to contact them but no specific details mentioning why.0
