He doesn't need that to take it to court though does he? It's down to OC to provide a report to the contrary to disprove the OP's claim.

If OC refuse to help he would have to take it to small claims where i imagine they would produce a report from one of their engineers saying that it is physical damage. It would then go down to the balance of probabilities of what happened.

I wouldn't be too confident in this situation if i was the OP.

Whether it's physical damage or not doesn't disprove the OP's claim though. OC would have to prove that the bent pins, whether a manufacturing fault or physical damage, weren't already there when it was bought. I don't see how they could since it's not a case of "engineer's reports", it's more a case of QA reports which I doubt very much OC could produce. Unless the engineers (and I've love to meet them if this was the case) could prove the damage was done specifically after the motherboard was sold and delivered.

Yep OCUK has pretty bad customer service (at least the after sales dept.).

I feel for you as I am also dealing with Mr Montgomery who felt that replacing my 1 year old turned faulty £150 graphics card with a £70.
Currently I have sent them 3-4 webnotes and been on the phone to consumer line direct.

I hope we both get our problem solved.
