    i had two

a MBNA white room card and the MBNA BMI card at the same time. no problems when applying for my BMI card. cancelled my white room a few months after and moved the available credit to the BMI no fuss , no probs

  • I used to have two mbna cards, what they did was split the credit between the two so i had 5k on each. HTH

I appear to have 2 too, I have a Virgin card and I believe I closed my other MBNA card when I opened the Virgin account but yesterday I got a letter about the terms on another card with a much lower credit limit:confused:

    MBNA run soooo many....

My other half had 3 (AOL, Virgin and another that I can't remember). As far as I'm aware there's no problem holdiing multiple cards, but you can't do a 0% BT from one MBNA to another, and they will look at your overall credit limit and if its a bit high they might reduce it on another card.

Get them to pay the funds into your current a/c and then pay the card off

I had an Alliance & Leicester card, and MBNA offered me a Virgin card as well :)
