Orange 18 month contract

Hi everyone I thought I would post on here first before I ring Orange and see what they can do.
Do any of you know weather I will be able to get out of my contract I have 6 months left on it, but am due to have a big op so will be on long term sick from work, and after 25 days from work I will only be getting SSP so wont be able to keep up with the payments.
I have asked Family weather any of them wanted to take over the contract and none of them do because either they are on contract themselves or they dont use there phone another to warrent the monthly payments, by the way im on a £25 a month contract.

I of course would rather pay the £25 if it meant not having the op I have never had a problem with the service from Orange but dont know if they can do anything about this, after the contract was up I was going to switch to Pay and Go with them anyway.
I have put off the op for as long as I could hoping I would get to the end of the contract first but now have to have it.

Thank you for any advice at all.

Angela

Don't know about getting out of it completely but I just reduced my Orange tariff yesterday and the website said you could do that once within the 18 months.
