Easyjet rip off??

Hi Folks!
I yesterday booked an easyjet flight for 4 amidst the BA strike confusion, but then managed to change my BA flight free of charge to gatwick, so no longer required my eastjet flight.
I knew within 24 hours of booking I could cancel with a £25 per person charge, however, when I eventually got through after 55 minutes on the phone at 10p a min!!!
I was told I could not get a refund for my priority boarding fees £20 or my baggage fees £80 on top of the cancelation charge they cost me £200!!!!
I just cant believe they can rip you off like that, of course im happy to pay an admin charge up to £25 each (100), but anymore than that is a shocker.
Does this sound correct to seasoned easyjetters??

The t&c's are very clear. I don't see the rip off?You may cancel your booking within 24 hours of making the original booking. Please note a cancellation can only be processed up to two (2) hours prior to the flight's scheduled departure time. You will receive a refund (including APD but excluding any credit card, transfer, speedy boarding, sports equipment, or other administrative fees). A cancellation fee per passenger per journey will be charged in accordance with the table below. Cancellation must be made via our call centre on 0871 244 2366 (calls cost 10p per minute; calls from mobiles and other networks may cost more. For other telephone numbers visit the contact us section). Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card used to make your booking.Gone ... or have I?0

What do the T&C's say about refunding the add ons?
....dmg24 as usual beat me to the relevant point!0 -
I think phatbear's rule has just been proved again.............This space has been intentionally left blank0

Well, obviously you don't think paying 10p a min to get thru to these people, and then getting charged for priority boarding and baggage which you will never have utilised, is a snidey way of making a quick buck! I'm afraid I do!!
T&C's or no T&C's its still wrong to charge these extortionate, inappropriate fees!! What has baggage and boarding got to do with the cancellation process??0 -

And yet you still agreed to them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
If you don't agree with T&C then don't buy their product. Why did you agree to them?Legal team on standby0

I really, REALLY wish people would stop saying something is a rip off, when they simply don't bother reading the T&C's properly, if at all...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

I REALLY REALLY wish people would stop ganging up like this - it only seems to happen on the travel forum and i always wonder why that is. Maybe there's a feeling of safety in numbers or just more insecure people on this particular forum.0

People have given an opinion to the OP's question. Would it be a 'gang' if everyone agreed with the OP?Gone ... or have I?0 -
take your point dmg and you were really helpful to me a couple of years ago when I did an SOS appeal from an internet cafe in spain when i was having no luck with the ryanair website but sometimes people come on here to let off a bit of steam and irrespective of whether they choose to use the dreaded word rip-off in their rant it wouldn't hurt just to sympathise a bit even if this was tempered with a bit of "actually you should have realised before you booked ..."0
