Winter tyres in summer...

I am the owner of a clio grande 1.2 and I would like to wear winter tyres all year round. During the winter, here in nottinghamshire, is not infrequent to find very bad road conditions in the morning, and my all year round tyres are a bit old. So I was thinking about replacing them all with winter ones. will it cause any…

I'm not sure its a good idea to use winter tyres in summer conditions. My OH's car has Uniroyal Rainsports and they proved to be excellent in the snowy conditions we had earlier in the year - they work ok in the summer too.
