The original poster was talking about concrete posts which are more like £15 each. Corner posts obviously more.
Don't even try and stand a 2.4m concrete post up with a single bag of postcrete that's just silly. Even a 3" wood post would need more than that if you want them to stand up for any amount of time.
It won't be done in a day either you're being misled by someone who has smashed up a fence using a bag of postcrete per post and nailing a panel to it.
I would say taking down the old fence and digging out the concrete will take up awhile.
Then 4" concrete posts will need 2ft holes and properly concreted in.
Hmm hard to say really without seeing your old fence and obstructions, but your materials will certainly be over a grand. Then waste disposal and labour, I wouldn't be too far away. Maybe a couple of hundred less but you are not getting ripped off if they do a good job thats for sure.
