Port to Voda after Contract Start!
For those that want to Vodafone after contract starts, this could be done in the first 2 weeks.
I say could as I did this in 2008! Just found my tel call notes.
What VF do is they cancel the contract and then immediately reinstate it using the same dealer code (so dealer still gets their commission but more importantly you don’t lose cashback etc.).
I emailed admin.support@vodafone.com and asked them to do the above and if they didn’t to cancel the contract. It was done and I’ve had all my cashback!
Hope this helps, please post your experiences, thanks

I was told it's only in the first 7 days now and had to use the address csateammanagerqueue@vodafone.com0

Couple of weeks ago when I started new contract0

Thats strange as I was told the other day it had to be done at the point of sale and not after............ not even 2 two days let alone 2weeks.???0

The VF web team have queried this for us on the forums, from management they have been given the answer it is done at point of sale only, it cannot be done after the contract is started.
But with the amount of conflicting info coming out of VF atm, im not all surprised you hear different things.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Anything CAN be done if there is a will to do it. They managed with me because of their !!!!-up.
The trouble is that it is too much hassle for them and their administration is not as good as you might expect. For years they were unable to give businesses on shared minutes a breakdown of which mobile was clocking up which minutes in a decent form for internal charging.
Their t&c definitely state that the PAC code must be available BEFORE you take out a contract. They are the only network that demands this, I believe - at least the only one of the big 5.0 -
If it means losing the contract/custom i think they will do it, but if not just cancel the contract. No financial loss for trying!0

When I ordered it would crash whenever I attempted to use my PAC so I used the online help which is where I got my info from0
