Help identifying plants!

Hiya, the garden in our new house is coming to life and so many gorgeous plants and trees are coming up, so far we have a magnolia stellata, a dogwood, a gorgeous azalea and camellia. A few more things have come up and my mum (usual plant IDer!) is stumped. So I was hoping some of you might be able to help?! Thanks!
This first one is a small tree, about 7ft tall

This one is a low shrub/bush

This one is a low groundcover type thing (the flowers look a bit bigger than they really are I think, 2cm-ish)

oh i love this one! Another tree, but quite small in height, but it spreads out pretty far. No leaves on it yet, just these unusual flowers growing straight from the branches.

Thanks very much for looking!!!

1st one looks like a philadelphus ( first photo I found here ).
2nd - the leaves look like a hazel of some sort but not sure about the flower.
3rd - agree with the wood anemone identification.
4th - yes, looks like a daphne - is there a scent?0 -
Thanks, I will try to remember to sniff next time I'm out there!
My hubby wondered what I was doing, as I google image searched "hazel" and "daphne" ... Mostly scantily clad ladies!0 -
I think pic 4 is Cercis Siliquastrum or Judas tree.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

4 is definitely Cercis. Mine is out at the moment.
3 is an anemone, but which one? Our local ones were out a week or two ago.
2 is a fothergilla
1 is errr...........You've beaten me!0 -
1. Halesia carolina (or perhaps monticola?)- Snowdrop tree
2.Fothergilla major - American Witch Hazel
3. Anemone blanda (white - sorry not certain of variety)
4.Cercis ciliquastrum - The Judas Tree
Lucky you someone with fab eye for plants - Fothergilla is my fav - autumn colour second to none!Greyer by the minute - Older by the hour - Wiser by the day0
