This software download in exchange for points has been offered for quite some time now, and a search through this board for Netpulse brings up a few posts from last year from posters who had downloaded the software and a few weeks later still hadn't received their points. They report that the software interferes with their browsing speed and most deleted/disabled theirs within a few days. No one to my knowledge has posted that they downloaded, installed and received their points in a timely manner.

Now, my reasons for asking the question (as I am sure you were aware when you replied) were fourfold. If the software is as carp as it seems I don't want to touch it but I'd like to hear experiences from those who have done so in the past (I'm not suggesting anyone signs up "just to see". Please don't, not on my account anyway).
There are several opportunities to make points from this software. The first is to earn 500 pts (~£4) for "successfully downloading and installing the application". This is all I am intending to do. I just wanted to know how long it would take for them to register this as there is no minimum period mentioned on the T&Cs.
I was also interested in whether they might take back any points once given if I chose to disable/delete the software.
Oh and if it was straightforward to remove the software completely!

This is a board to help people and I've used my past experience to inform people of both good and bad experiences with companies etc and benfitted from others sharing theirs. It's what this forum is all about!!
I was only asking whether any reader would care to share their experience (good or bad) regarding netpulse and whether it lived up to it's promises.

No, I'd never heard of the software before you mentioned it. I thought that you had installed it and were waiting for your points.

My apologies.
I read it as though you wanted me to go first rather than wait to see how others' experiences had gone. I read a hint of sarcasm which wasn't there and for that I'm sorry. It's an example of not being able to hear "tone" in the text which blights the online experience.

The day after saying I would not bother installing the software, I did. (The Carling persuaded me to do it)

I installed it on 16th and got my 500 points today.

I installed it on Firefox and can honestly say that once installed you don't know it's there. It doesn't ask you to log in, or 'pop up' for any reason and there's no tool bar. It doesn't slow anything down either.

I have received this on my MY Survey account 'NETPULSE - 101025 (installation reward 100)'! I have not clicked to sign up to this and have looked through uninstall and can find nothing including Consumer Input Software, but for a few weeks now my laptop has becomes really slow when moving around online pages. So I don't know if I have this on my laptop, if I have it, how to remove it if it is on there and if not have not a clue why everything is so sluggish.

i downlded software a while agao and it made my screen flicker, browser slow, and i ended up uninstalling, never recieved any points!
I havent received a survey for a while of them now, used to get about6ish a week! quick at paying out so miss them!
