    The Recorded letter I sent yesterday about this was signed for at 10:30 this morning by M. Swift at Travelodge Head Office, lets hope to hear from them soon!

    The OP didnt pay for peace and quiet, he paid for a late check out.

    They can't guarantee it from the other guests of course not, but they can prevent it from their own staff, who were the whole cause of the problems.

    Anyway, my letter was also about the horrible conditions of the rooms too.

    Which should be clear to the staff from the register, or whatever electronic equivalent they use. Why wake the guest to ask?
