i recently started working in the school kitchens. Our's send out a menu plan for the term so every parent is aware wot is available on each day. Also is displayed in corridor.
Our cook is given the figure of how many children she will be feeding, so we don't under cater.
Talk to the school and cook. We also have to cater for children with allergies etc, so we are flexible and approachable!Toughest form of moutain climbing is climbing out of a rutI WILL be debt free!I WILL be happy!red pen member 40 -
Cheesy Pasta, healthy? You must be joking. I wouldn't feed that rubbish to my dog, let alone a child!
I can't believe that people actually think cheese and pasta is an acceptable lunch - where's the vegetables for a start? From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.

The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -

What else are you going to do if one of the children doesn't like something basic like cheese - are you never to serve a family meal with cheese in because of this?
Ther are distinct advantages to being able to clear a plate of food that you don't like. 1) you don't end up hungry and 2) you don't offend great aunt Maud who cooked tripe especially for you as a treat.
"Mmmmmm...thanks Great Aunt, this is delicious"
My parents made me eat food I didn't like, and now I can sit and eat ham quiche celery salad (detest celery and am a veggie) if the occasion should arise (thankfully not very often at all)0
