3 computers in this house running XP, Vista & Win 7.

On all three from time to time a window(e.g. browser or Word) will open half page size. They were full page size when last used.

I do appreciate it is but a click of a button to enlarge them to full page; but it irritates me that I cannot find out why, if closed down from a full size window they occasionally open up half page.

Any ideas?

Donnie posted this in another thread:

Right click on the Internet Explorer 8 Icon(in the Start Bar) and click properties. Click the down arrow next to Run to select maximized. Be sure and click apply to save the change you have just made. Your IE 8 screen will now be automatically maximized when you open it.

    Hope that helps!
