My daughter is on a Virgin unlimited text package with 200 mins of calls. When she goes to France this month, does anybody know if she has to pay extra to RECEIVE texts. I know she will have to pay extra if she makes them.

Your help would be appreciated. I've checked the website but to no avail.

There is no charge to receive text. Beware of the motherly single ring ackowledgement, as she may well be charged for roaming.

43p a min to make a call 19p to receive 11p to send a text free to recieve .She wont be able to use bundle while abroad also have you checked she has roaming activated ,if its never been used abroad before it's worth getting it checked roaming is not automatically added when a Direct Debit is set up
