Can I stop the moving /rolling icons?

Does anyone know how to stop moving or rolling icons, they make me feel really dizzy and sick and I cant read any of my favorite threads. Used to be the odd few, now people are using them in tag lines and in every post drives me crazy.
I had same problem on another site and managed to press something to keep them still but I cant remember how do it. Any tips on how I can read this site would be much appreciated thanks.

Thanks, I can switch off the signitures now, but I cant swtich of icons in posts, oh well better than nothing!0

Depending on your browser, there may be an option to turn off animated gifs in the advanced display settings. That would turn them off - everywhere. Try Opera if IE doesn't have the setting.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Pressing Esc will turn them off on the page you are on.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
