Hi
We've recently moved to a new house (detached, built approx. 1990) and I need to provide the reading from the water meter, but I can't find any inside or outside the house ! It definitely has one.
The one outside that I though was water appeared to be a gas meter, and the electricity meter from e-on shows 3 different numbers .. (I guess High and Low, but what is the 3rd one !?)
confused

Our water meter is buried under the pavement outside the boundary of the house - there is a small metal cover over it (about 1 ft by 1 ft). Have you got one of these?0

Mine is on the street outside. Grey plastic cover with the word WATER written on there. Mine is oval shaped, next door is round.0

If its on the pavement should look like this:-That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Try expanding your search. It could be outside a neighbour's house.0

Ask the water company they should have a record of the location , it could be in the verge or garden or maybe a few doors down depending on where they laid the pipes0
