    Oh right. So if your partner brings in just over the limit of £92.75 per week say £95 per week then things can turn out to be quite tight if there are 2 of you and you're expected to both live off that £95 per week.

    I suppose it can be done but it must be really difficult :eek:

  • Thanks for the advice. I have posted my application form today for income based JSA and we will see what happens. At worst it should mean that we can still claim our insurance, without which we are stuffed!

    I also completed our renewal for Tax Credits. We only get £10 a week at the moment and the guy we spoke to thought this a bit low? He also said that we should be intitled to working tax credit? So hopefully we can still afford to eat. I have started a veg' patch just in case.
